Wedding time is almost here and honestly, it's coming a lot faster than we thought it would. There have been some stressful moments - most notably, our original venue not working out--but that is another blog post by itself. I don't have the energy to get into it right now.
What I will divulge is wedding planning is no joke! I respect anyone who takes it on alone and those who are hired to do it have a plethora or ordeals to deal with on top of the possibility of having a Bridezilla as their client. I will say that the hardest part of planning a wedding is locking down the guest list. It sucks that the guest list is directly tied with your budget but you know, even if I had millions of dollars, I don't know that I would've wanted a huge wedding.
My groom is looking forward to getting some time off. He works so hard!
Other than that, we still have things to get done but everything is coming together. The most important thing is that this event has brought me closer to a lot of people and I feel blessed that they are a part of my life. It has spawned afternoons with friends, movie dates with others, shoe shopping, gift shopping, party favor making with my mom and wedding registry stuff with Brian, video chat with my new family--these have been the best parts about these wedding-planning months--and the best is yet to come!
