She's a beauty, an artist, a singer, an entertainer, a philanthropist, a gentle soul, a voice of reason, a voice of comfort, an actress, a comedian, a confidant, a
fierce entity and the strongest woman I know.
She is my mommy.
I posted one of these photos on Facebook with the title "Who says you can only wear it once?" and got a lot of laughs. A couple of months ago, since my wedding dress spent the past year collecting dust, I decided I was going to wear it for a brief moment on our anniversary. My point was not only to take advantage of its beauty, but to also relive the moment of wearing it. (I also need to get my money's worth, right?) Every year, as a tradition, I'm going to put it on and take a photo. Perhaps, when I'm fifty, I'll have twenty photos that I can turn into a book or a blog.
A small collection of photos of us camping at the beach in celebration
of our anniversaries. We were joined by my dearest friend Stephanie and
her husband Sergio who made it a weekend to remember. S'mores, Truth or Dare, Satellite watching, waves crashing - I can't wait to go back!
